Lift Refurbishment

As part of our specialist lift services, we offer a professional lift refurbishment service for any existing lifts. Our past projects have seen our team of experts work on 1950's glass lift structures and more to modernise them whilst retaining their original charm. Our lift refurbishment services allow older lifts to become fully useable again with our team doing thorough checks and tests to ensure they meet all valid safety regulations and that they are completely fit for purpose.

Cardiff Bay

We proposed a new ZEILHL ABEGG SM225 Traction Gearless VVVF machine with traditional machine room above the lift shaft to reduce noise levels throughout the building. The client could not believe how quiet the lift is, you do not hear the lift arriving when stood at each floor. 

Our client also chose Glass Doors with black stainless frames to allow light through at ground floor. Also, to keep this design, we supplied glass cabin doors and black stainless steel cabin with a glass panel to the rear wall.

Due to the design of the existing and listed steel shaft we installed a new black self-contained structure supported within the stairwell for the installation on the new lift.

The result has been a great success mixing the old with the new, and with glass doors and glass to panel to the rear of the lift, car users can enjoy the experience when using the lift.
